Connor Peters is a Bachelor of Science in Photography graduate from the University of Central Florida. He has an Associate of Science in Photography and graduated with high honors in 2018 from the Southeast Center for Photographic Studies in Daytona Beach. Peters moved to the United States in 2017 from his hometown of Johannesburg, South Africa. He has worked on commercial fashion sittings as a photographer for the Verona Collection and in a traditional portrait studio environment; as well as freelancing for product shoots, portrait sittings, weddings and events.
His continued experimentation with fine art astrophotography and 3D printing has led to his 2020 thesis work Existential. The work is being displayed at Daffodil – A virtual exhibition, The Southeast Museum of Photography and the UCF College of Arts and Humanities online exhibition. Though his work in astrophotography is relatively new, his passion for landscapes and nature has been evident throughout his photographic career. From darkroom printing to 3D printing, his desire to inspire his viewers is his motivation.
